An event description for folks unfamiliar with Bogstompin'
1. Bikes. 2. Beer & Food.
3. Music
Ok- but now seriously:
For those who haven't been to the Bogstomp before the event is a "cyclo-cross" event. The course is short and flat with a mix of woodsy singletrack, flat dirt road and a short paved section. If it rains it is muddy, if it is dry it can be rippin' fast. There are three races; a short & sweet kids race for the little guys, a 30 minute and a 50 minute. The race has been won in the past by both cyclo-cross bikes and mountain bikes so it is a pretty level playing field. The determining factor seems to be rider (surprise surprise). There is a large 'haybarn' structure to huddle in if it is raining and the Bogstomp Brewmeister always rolls out a special keg of BogBrew. Come on out and enjoy the day!
